Bookmark Contest and Window Hand Prints
Hello again!
It's your pal Geoffrey here, and I want to remind everyone about our bookmark design contest and window hand prints. As my friend Mr. Brandon said in his video, we need your help decorating our library for Summer Reading! Be sure to stop in at the library front desk and pick up your form today. We need them back by April 30th. We can't wait to see what you create! |
We still need more hands!
Help!
Mr. Brandon told me to send out a message STAT! We still need your creativity and help with coloring our hand prints to put in our window display. If you haven't stopped by the library and picked one up yet, please hurry! We need your help to make our display a fun and colorful one. Thanks for your help and creativity! |
Summer Reading Programs are hard work!
Hi!
Your pal Geoffrey here, just checking in to let you know that I am hard at work helping Miss Molly and Mr. Brandon get everything finished before Summer Reading Programs start. There is still so much to do, but they have both assured me that everything will be ready by June 1st! I can't wait to see you soon! |

Summer fun has begun at the library!
Hello again!
Your pal Geoffrey here, just wanted to share some photos and updates from all of the fun we've been having at the library so far this summer! Mr. Brandon made rainbow slime with the kids yesterday. Ooey gooey fun ensued! I also heard there were some strange noises coming from the slime when the kids were trying to contain it. Something about farts? I'm a crayon and I've never heard of such a thing before. Miss Molly and the kids used lots of paint and paper plates to create amazing works of art! They dotted the paint on the plates, smushed them together and then pulled them apart to see what happened. What happened was amazing! Miss Molly thought they must have created at least 100 plates of color. Word on the street is that some of them may stay in the library for decoration. I continue to hide in different places in the library each week, waiting to see how many kids will find me. So far, someone has managed to find me each week. I may need find some better hiding spots. I also heard there's a colorful candy guess happening each week at the library too. Evidently if you guess closest to the number of candies in the jar, you win the whole jar of candy! This week is Jolly Ranchers. Yum! Don't forget, it's still not too late to sign up for our summer reading programs. There's still four weeks left! We have programs for all ages and abilities. Whew! So much fun happening at the library this summer! I hope you come visit soon! |
