
Library Director
Molly Rach
Molly grew up in Washington, Iowa and began her first job as a library page at the Washington Public Library. She moved to Cedar Rapids for college in 2000 and prior to completing her Bachelor's degree from Mount Mercy University in 2006, Molly was hired on at the Cedar Rapids Public Library as a Library Materials and Reference Assistant. She spent three years with Cedar Rapids and in 2006, she was hired on at Hiawatha Public Library as the Adult Programming Coordinator. She spent a little over eight years at Hiawatha developing programs for adults while managing other projects for the library. Molly was hired as the Library Director of Blairstown Public Library in May of 2015.
Molly carries a Level VI Library Certification from the State Library of Iowa. She also participated in the Iowa Library Association's Leadership Institute in 2012. Molly completed her Master's Degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2017.
